Our mission is to provide couples, small families, and groups with an unforgettable escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, fostering relaxation, connection, rejuvenation, and adventure amidst nature's embrace.
Vision
Richland Creek Retreats is an upscale glamping and hospitality destination situated amidst the serene landscapes on the fringes of Sulphur Springs, TX, conveniently located just 90 minutes from Dallas and 2 hours from Fort Worth. Our resort offers a unique experience with 3 cabin styles offering lots of natural light; bringing the outdoors in.
The Farm at Richland Creek Retreats will offer that farmstead feel where guests can collect their own eggs, pick fresh vegetables, berries, and herbs in the gardens, and interact feed the many animals on the farm.
The barn homes will have 2 large sliding barn doors on each end that can be opened to expose large picture windows taking in the natural light. Each barn will be perched on a large deck about 8' high; treehouse style, adding an in-deck cargo net bed, outdoor kitchen, and trough-style hot tub/cold plunge.
The Cliffs at Richland Creek Retreats will have 1 and 2 bedroom mirror homes perched on a treehouse-like deck overlooking Richland Creek 20’ down with in-deck cargo net beds, mirrored sauna hut, outdoor kitchen.
Timber Ridge at Richland Creek Retreats will have 1 and 2 bedroom mirrored house options situated on the forest floor, with deck, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor shower.
Forest Haven at Richland Creek Retreats will have 1 and 2 bedroom Geodome options that will embrace each guest. The domes have a nurturing quality where day and night provide a unique experience; by day the natural light embraces and transforms you, then the stars twinkle the night away. Geoship domes are unlike those by Pacific Domes, FDomes, and the like because they are constructed of a biocermic material stronger than concrete and energy-efficient.
Walden Pond at Richland Creek Retreats will offer 4 bedroom homes built right on the pond with decks reaching over, allowing guest to fish and enjoy the waterfront views.
